After 9 years in architecture, in 2014 I changed career and began working with young carers and their families, children and young people, and young parents in care.
I now work in private practice with adults and young people with long-term and life-changing physical and developmental conditions, and their loved ones. I have a special interest in attachment, separation, living abroad, childhood abuse, trauma, and neglect, relationships, identity, life transitions, neurodiversity (e.g. ADHD and Autism Spectrum Condition, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia) and other long-term conditions. I also provide clinical supervision to other therapists and counsellors.
I have an MSc in Psychology, a PGDip in Working with Children, Young People, & Families: a Psychoanalytic Observational Approach, a Diploma in Psychodynamic Therapeutic Counselling, an Advanced Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling, and an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision including Online and Telephone Working. I am currently completing a BSc in Counselling.

I hold an up to date enhanced DBS for working with adults and children. I also hold relevant insurance for the services I provide.
I am a registered member of the BACP, NCPS, ACTO, and I am a Graduate member of the BPS. This means I am able to access up to date guidance and advice on best practice, and high quality CPD and research. It also means I have signed up to work within ethical frameworks, and that I am accountable to those accredited bodies.
